Ground Based Air Defence
Saab's Mobile Short Range Air Defence (MSHORAD) solution would provide Canada with proven capability for Ground Based Air Defence (GBAD). Our solution includes a combat management system, Giraffe 1X radar, which tracks and categorizes all targets and the RBS 70 MFU (Mobile Firing Unit) missile weapon system. Saab’s system and weapons meet Canada’s needs domestically and internationally, providing a mobile and flexible capability.
